Frank Thomas Takes Down Number 500!

admin

I guess I am a Frank Thomas fan. I mean, he did get on my nerves for a little while when it appears he was whining about playing time in Chicago. He was not really producing at the time, and despite hitting some homers, the average has not been over .300 since 2000. I felt like he was just hanging on (ala Emmitt Smith) to get to 500 homers (selfish). After listening to all of the crap about guys on the juice though, it’s nice to see someone who from all appearances did it naturally (and he made a big point about that in his press conference last night. Of course it would not be a perfect night for Frank without getting tossed for argueing balls and strikes. What the heck!

Congratulations Frank!
